Basic workshop Vedic cooking (english speaking)

The Vedic kitchen is the original kitchen of India and ideal at this time if you wat to cook vegetarian or vegan. During this workshop we make a complete Vedic menu and you will learn all the basic preparations and techniques of the Vedic kitchen.

Marianne talks about Vedic cooking, the Vedic culture and Ayurveda, and about the importance and effect of herbs and spices. After the introduction we make a complete Vedic menu, consisting of curry, dahl, herbal rice, chutney, raita, ‘heavenly snacks’, one of the famous Indian ‘sweets’, Indian bread, chai etc.

This workshop is 100% vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free on request and we only use organic ingredients if possible. Suitable for everybody (tri-dosha, in Ayurvedic terms).

Ofcourse we close the afternoon with a festive meal.
